Abstract
Law number 08.01 regarding exploitation of quarries states an applicable criminal punishment in case of committing one of the criminal acts stated in it, and the court misused the application of law when it convicted the accused for stealing sands pursuant to Article 517 of the criminal law on theft instead of the said specified law.
